Da ja am Montag um 10 Uhr die Kammerjäger unser Zimmer heimgesucht haben, haben wir geschaut, dass wir so lang wie möglich aus unserem Zimmer flüchten können. Wir sind dann zuerst nach Nîmes gefahren. Dort haben wir uns einige Sehenswürdigkeiten angesehen, wie zB die Stierkampfarena. Es sind dann voll viel verkleidete Leute auf der Straße gewesen – so wie bei uns am Faschingsdienstag halt – und wir haben dann im Office de Tourisme nachgefragt, ob heute in Frankreich Carneval ist. Das „super freundliche“ Personal meinte nur, dass heut „Mardi Gras“ (übersetzt: Faschingsdienstag) sei. Die sind ja so blöd die Franzosen. Feiern Faschingsdienstag an einem Montag und das noch Wochen zu spät. In Nîmes ging aber wieder so der Wind, dass es voll kalt war und auch beim Pont du Gard war es nicht viel wärmer. Dieser Pont du Gard ist anscheinend zum Weltkulturerbe der UNESCO ernannt worden. Naja, uns hat er nicht von den Socken gehauen ;-)
Wir hatten dann richtige Horrorvorstellungen von unserem Zimmer. Es war dann aber doch nicht so schlimm, denn es roch nur sehr wenig nach Desinfektion. Keine Ahnung, was die für Tiere abtöten wollen – denn merkwürdigerweise ist das nur in unserem Stockwerk.
Zuerst hieß es, dass sie 3 x kommen, doch jetzt kommen insgesamt 4 x die Kammerjäger. Das ist vielleicht immer ein Aufwand, denn man muss das Bett entfernen und alle Lebensmittel, oder sonstigen offenen Sachen in Säcke packen und in den Schrank stellen (und das noch 3 x). Glaub ich will auch gar nicht wissen, was das für Insekten sind in unserem Stockwerk – solang ich sie nicht höre oder noch schlimmer sehe!
